The WIO Biotope Decor Kit Mere is an all-in-one aquascaping package containing the components required to create an authentic, natural display. It is inspired by Pool Malebo in Congo, Africa, and upgrades the aquarium display to represent a true slice of nature.
The Decor Kit includes a ready-to-use mix of materials for creating a scenic aquarium. One Kit is sufficient for a display up to 60cm, two for a 90cm and three for a 120cm display. They are easy and fun to use, allowing aquascaping fans to design a realistic biotope.
The Mere Kit aims to recreate the mellow sands and forest debris found in the mighty Pool Malebo of the Congo River, it contains warm-coloured sand, small stones and gravel and pieces of woody material. Also included are pieces of the WIO Bumblebee Stone, which offer shades of grey and a slight granite feel with darker patches and scars on the face of the stone. This kit is perfect for mimicking the habitats of deltas, lakes, and lagoons, where organic material has been deposited by currents and floods. Naturally, as a base, the kit contains Wetland Artist Mustard substrate, ideal for supporting lush plant growth and blending harmoniously with the colours of the display.
