Usage

Step 1: Unpack the Mat

• Carefully unpack your VISTAS Mat from its handy bag packaging. 

Step 2: Clean the Mat

• Before placing the mat under your tank, ensure it is clean and free from dust or debris. You can do this by gently wiping it with a dry cloth.

Step 3: Position the Mat

• Position the VISTAS Mat on a flat, stable surface where you intend to place your aquarium. Ensure that the surface is level and sturdy enough to support the weight of the aquarium.

Step 4: Align the Mat

• Align the Mat so that it perfectly matches the base of your VISTAS tank. The mat should extend slightly beyond the tank's edges for optimal protection.

Step 5: Place the Aquarium

• Carefully place your aquarium onto the mat, ensuring it is centered and evenly distributed over the mat. Be careful to avoid any sudden movements that could cause stress to the aquarium glass.
• Double-check the alignment of your tank on the mat. There should be no overhang of the aquarium off the mat, and it should be centered on the mat.

Step 6: Fill the Aquarium

• You can now start setting up your aquarium. Follow the recommended steps for adding substrate, decorations, and water to your aquarium. Remember, always add water slowly to avoid causing stress to the glass.

Note: The VISTAS Mat is not machine washable. Clean it by hand using a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Rinse well and allow to dry thoroughly before placing it back under your aquarium. Always inspect your mat periodically for any signs of wear or damage. Replace the mat if any damage is detected.
